LAVEGO AG has the leading SoftPOS solution from Softpay.io from Denmark certified for the girocard. Today, the documents and reports presented by the Security Working Group of the German Banking Industry (DK) were rated positively.

Softpay is already certified in accordance with the PCI Security Council's mPoC standard for international schemes. The app makes it possible to accept contactless payments on common devices such as smartphones or tablets. The integration of the girocard is an important step towards enabling retailers in Germany to have affordable card processing available.

SoftPOS installations are not only used by smaller retailers instead of a “real” terminal, but also as a flexible mobile solution in retail to avoid checkout lines. SoftPOS is also popular as an emergency solution if the permanently installed terminals should have technical problems.
