CCV A920
The CCV A920 is a widely used mobile terminal and, thanks to the Android operating system, can be operated intuitively, similar to a smartphone. With its integrated printer, the A920 is ideal for mobile use. The terminal is PCI 5.x certified. Girocard, credit cards, diesel and fleet cards are processed. The A920 was discontinued in June 2025 by CCV; the follow-up model is the A960.
Stationary Terminals
Stationary terminals are permanently installed at one location via a cable for power supply, Internet and, if necessary, a cash register.
Mobile Terminals
Mobile terminals are powered by a battery and are connected to the Internet via WLAN and/or mobile communications. They are also becoming increasingly popular in stationary retail because of their flexibility. SoftPOS is a special form - ordinary smartphones and tablets are becoming card terminals.
Unattended Terminals
Vending machine terminals are permanently installed and connected to a vending machine control system. There are variants for indoor and outdoor use, with and without a PIN pad to enter the PIN number, only contactless as well as with chip and magnetic stripe readers.
